18 passengers burnt to death in Bauchi auto crash

On Wednesday, tragedy struck when an auto accident in the Narbodo village of the Toro council in Bauchi burned 18 people so badly that they could not be identified.
This was said by FRSC sector commander Yusuf Abdullahi in a report on road traffic on Thursday.
Mr. Abdullahi said that the accident was between a Toyota Hiace bus and a vehicle with two axles. Three people in the trailer were not hurt in the crash.

He said that the crash was caused by a speeding ticket, which caused the two cars to crash head-on.
“Twenty-one people were in the car accident, including 18 adult men and 3 children. After hitting the trailer head-on, the Toyota Hiace bus caught fire and burned 18 people so badly that they could no longer be identified,” he said.
Mr. Abdullahi also said that the Nigeria Police Force quickly buried all of the victims together.
