Apostle Nwanze urges South-South and South-East to produce a consensus presidential candidate in 2023

As the 2023 election circle is getting closer by the day, eminent persons and stakeholders are adding their voices, to see how the South-South and southeast zone of the country can have a chance to produce the next president of the country.

Apostle. Patrick A. Nwanze in a paper presented at the youth of this generation town hall meeting in Sapele, Delta State, stated that we have played second fiddle enough.

You will all agree with me that our position today as Apex Association of Anioma indigenes Inc in conjunction with   South-South and South-East Assembly is that the North should stop playing God in Nigeria.

 

He went further to say that, all the political parties in our region should wake up and become selfless by dropping their untrue party loyalty, and adopted a consensus candidate irrespective of his or her party.

Advising that they must stand up holding hands together in a strong accord to engage for this one purpose.

I have always said, going by the defections observed, that this country has no party but “vantage positions” How do I mean, you may ask? What happened in the Edo State election is my reply. Yes!! You will agree with me when I said “untrue loyalty”.

Apostle Nwanze reiterated that SSSE must resist selloff this time around, the political tempo in the eleven states is high and the youths of this region are ready to take the bull by the horns.

It may interest you to know that I represent the interest of the two powerful associations mentioned here in different capacities. President General of AAAI and Secretary-General of SS&SE Assembly and its Delta State chapter.

In the same vein he advised that, as a pressure group for good governance and good citizenship, we must not allow nor tolerate acts of violence and indiscipline.

The Ibusa born evangelist is a  man who has a great interest in the liberation of area boys and girls around the globe.

Let our hearts in this side of the divide be strong, firm, and courageous, I hear a sound of Jubilation afar off.
