A former Senate Deputy Minority Chief Whip and a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) member, Senator Abu Ibrahim, has said Nigeria will be secure under Asiwaju Bola Tinubu if he’s voted as the President in 2023.
The Katsina State-born former lawmaker spoke on the weekend in Abuja during the inauguration of Bola Tinubu Support Organisation (BTSO).
He expressed support for promoters of the Bola Tinubu Presidency in 2023, saying he had known the APC National Chief for over 20 years.
Ibrahim described Asiwaju Tinubu as a targeted Nigerian and a great leader who is passionate about figuring out potentials in creating and mentoring youthful generations for positions of tasks.
“I know Asiwaju Tinubu very nicely. We have been associates for over 20 years. He’s a focused and hard-working man. He’s a builder of unity, a pillar of Nigeria’s unity. I feel Nigeria shall be secure in his palms.”
Additionally, one-time Secretary to Niger State Government (SSG), Professor Mohammed Kuta Yahaya, hailed the APC National Leader for his mentoring spirit.
He noted that the former Lagos State governor has mentored many Nigerians in various positions of management across the nation’s national life.
Yahaya, who was the Chairman of the inauguration ceremony, harassed that no living Nigerian leader has demonstrated mentorship capability like Asiwaju Tinubu.
“Is there a Nigerian in the political area or entrepreneurial house that has mentored rising leaders like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu?
“Allow us to create a Bola Ahmed Tinubu in every one of the six geo-political zones and you will see there will be no poverty and corruption in Nigeria,” Yahaya stated.
The Convener and the National Coordinator of Bola Tinubu Support Organisation, Abubakar Kuso said the race for the Presidency in 2023 requires a man of vision like the APC National Leader.
“I’m a young man and a robust advocate of ‘Not Too Young To Run.’ However, Nigeria needs a leader like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We want him to mentor more younger generations to allow us to take over the leadership of the country,” Kuso stated.
BTSO coordinators from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) later took their oaths of office.
