FRSC returns N716, 800 cash found at crash site

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has returned N716, 800 found at a car accident site at Ozubulu along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway, to the group of the expired.

Mr Bamidele Ayanwale, the Unit Commander in Oraifite, gave over the entirety on Tuesday.

He said that the amount was retrived when the FRSC officials were on a salvage mission after the mishap.

Ayanwale said that the cash having a place with late Mrs. Oparaocha was given back to her child, Mr. Chibueze Oparaocha, after a considerable efforts of full recognizable proof by the Unit’s officials.

As indicated by him, the FRSC reached the family members through the cell phone of the dead victims.

The FRSC officer said that, the crash involved a Nissan transport with registration number LSH-517YG and a truck with registration number GGU-83XA.

As indicated by him, seven people: three guys and four females were involved in the accident that occurred on March 22, at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
