NAF warns of activities of fraudsters possing as NAF recruitment agents

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been alerted to the continuing activities of certain unscrupulous and deceptive individuals posing as NAF recruitment officers.

Under the cover of recruiting Nigerians into the NAF, these agents extort money from unsuspecting Nigerians. They also go above and above to carry out their criminal activities by creating fake blogs, Facebook profiles, and WhatsApp groups to entice unsuspecting applicants.

Some of the current phony sites used to defraud these applicants include, but are not limited to: “Nigeria Gallant Airforce” (WhatsApp/Facebook accounts), “Nigerian Air Force 2021/2022 recruitment  ‘Ntugba God’s Time,'(Facebook account) and account details: Ecobank, 396001097.

It is saddening to note, however, that despite the NAF’s repeated warnings and tireless efforts over the years to educate the public about the sinister activities of these con artists, some people continue to be duped by these con artists on a yearly basis. As a result, it has become important to educate the public about this unwholesome patronage.

In light of the above, the NAF would like to emphasize that the recruitment and selection process for the NAF is completely free of charge and does not require any payment into any bank accounts.

Furthermore, the NAF does not use agents to hire members, so anyone claiming to be acting on its behalf is a liar. and should be reported to the nearest NAF Unit, The Nigeria Police Force, or any other security agencies.
