The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has declared it listed one more death in the past 24 hours.
The health agency said the total number of deaths from the disease in Nigeria now stands at 2,066.
Additionally, it reported 44 new cases of the virus, bringing the whole number of diseases in the nation to 165,559.
The new cases were reported in four states.

Akwa-Ibom and Ekiti States reported one instance each.
According to the public health bureau, the country’s active instances stand at 7,092.
NCDC also stated that it’s analyzed 1,977,479 people since the virus hit Nigeria on Feb. 27, 2020.
