The federal body of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has suspended Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday along with her colleague Kehinde Adams, popularly Called Lege Miami.
The TAMPAN Guild has advised all guilds to henceforth desist from having any professional dealings with Nkechi Blessing and Lege Miami until further notice above their show of pity lately on social networking.
They have been in a war of words on societal media within the arrest of their priests, Baba Ijesha, that had been accused of sexually defiling a minor.t
Although Lege later apologised after being dragged because of his utterances, Nkechi in her usual manner did not neglect to keep insulting him as she dealt him as a”classless idiot”.
An announcement from the TAMPAN chairman Damilola Olatunji disclosed that the unruly acts and exchange of damaging verbal utterances by the actors have been disrespectful to the association’s image and livelihood.
Damilola Olatunji explained that the choice is after the directive of TAMPAN’s parent body since the series of shame currently happening between Nkechi Blessing and Lege Maimi can no longer be accepted; hence punitive arrangement became critical to redeem the image of their association.
The statement adds that no movie manager from the TAMPAN institution should engage the services of these Nollywood stars as anyone who participates in them in whatever kind will similarly be subject to further afield step
