Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of Interior, has taken to the media to appeal to the Nigerian youths to Shawn the attitude of relinquishing their citizenship in a quest to find greener pasture elsewhere.
Following the trend of most young Nigerians deriving pleasure in acquiring citizenship elsewhere, the Minister asserted his concerns when he spoke at the Ministerial Alignment Meeting of the Presidential Task Force on Deliverables for Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of Government, describing the act as being alarming and unproductive.
Being represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry at the meeting, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, the Minister said the Federal government will set up a mechanism in place that would keep the Nigerian youths occupied in different product areas.

The Minister noted that a committee would be set up in the Ministry with stakeholders to regulate the operations and execution of the deliverables.
He announced that the board will be chaired by Mr. Kabiru Ayuba, the Director, Planning Research and Statistics (PRS) in the Ministry, with representatives of the four Services under the Ministry and other relevant officers.
