Kebbi, bandits kill 88 people others missing


On Saturday, the Kebbi Police Command reported that bandits killed 88 persons in the state’s Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area on Thursday.

DSP Nafi’u Abubakar, the command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), corroborated the amount, saying that all of the victims were killed in eight separate communities within the local government area.

He claims that the command has found 88 dead so far and despatched a contingent of agents to maintain law and order in the affected areas.

“Koro, Kimpi, Gaya, Dimi, Zutu, Rafin Gora, and Iguenge villages, all in the Danko/Wasagu LGA of Kebbi State, were all victims of the killings.
