Today Wednesday, the Nigerian Judicial Staff Union terminated their strike.

On Monday, the union will begin work.

In April JUSUN launched an indefinite national strike against the denial of judicial independence by the Federal High Court in January 2014, which was promised by the Constitution.

The consequences of the strike include permanent detention of detainees who usually do not spend more than 48 hours in jail.
