Four prominent NIGERIANS have been conferred with honorary doctorate degrees by the University of Lagos for their role and contribution to nation-building.
These prominent Nigerians are sir Dr. Kensington Adebutu, Alhaji Mohammed India, Dr. Biodun Olusina Shobanjo, and Dr. Ameyo Stella Adedavoh
Delivering his speech, on day 3 which marks the end of the convocation,
the chancellor, Alhaji Abubakar Elkanemi expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari saying all done us in pursuant of excellent academic progress and national development. He urged all awardees to use their awards for the growth of the nation.
Expressing gratitude, sir Kensington and other recipients of the award, lauded the university’s authority just as sir Washington donated the sum of 200 million nairas for the institution’s internet service.
