Fresh evidence emerged of the arrests in Cotonou, Benin, on Munday evening, 19 July of the self-stylized agitator of Yoruba Nation Chief Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a. Igboho.

According to Leaders, in Cotonou, Cardinal Bernadin Gantin International Airport (Cardinal Bernadin Gantin International Airport) was arrested on the way to a country unknown European by Brigade criminal (Criminal Brigade) operators.

It was gathered that, when he had been discovered, Igboho had submitted a Beninese Passport to officials at Bernadin Gantin International Airport in Cotonou to visit Germany.

He was claimed to have tried to get out of difficulty, but his openings were rejected by the Beninese authorities and another security official, who carried out his arrest, were instantly alerted.

“He was trying to escape but the police could pick him up. He is currently in Cotonou with the Criminal Brigade.

Here in Benin, we have tight laws. Those people who helped him acquire a passport for Benin tricked him, as they did not notify him that the risk of a fugitive was ahead of him.

If he had tried a place like neighboring Togo, escaping to Europe would have been easy for him but, here in the Republic of Benin, it is hard to accomplish,” one insider added.
