Buhari congratulates new Saudi Prime Minister, Mohammed Bin Salman

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, the recently chosen prime minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has received congratulations from President Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari praised the appointment, which is the first in the country’s history and combines the role of defense minister.

Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.

Buhari stated that the Nigerian government and people were eager to collaborate with Bin Salman to further develop and widen their already fruitful bilateral ties.
The leader of Nigeria also expressed confidence that the comprehensive strategic partnership between our two countries will continue to flourish under the dynamic and forward-thinking leadership of the Prime Minister and King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, who is the ruler of the Kingdom and the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques.

In addition to wishing the Prime Minister a fruitful term in office, Buhari prayed to Allah for the expansion of his health and knowledge.
