According to Aliyu, the presidential candidate representing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has the best health of any of the other contenders.

Babangida Aliyu, a former governor of Niger State, has cast aspersions on Bola Tinubu, a contender for the presidency of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Aliyu, a presidential candidate who is fit does not need to post a video of himself riding a bike in order to demonstrate that he is physically capable of holding the office of president.

Recall that on Sunday evening, Tinubu posted a video of himself running on a treadmill, putting an end to rumors that he was sick and proving that he was in good health.

Tinubu’s absence at many significant events, most notably the signing of the peace deal, had given rise to rumors that he had hastily left the country and postponed the beginning of his political campaign in order to focus on his health.

Tinubu, on the other hand, captioned his video with the following: “Many have stated I have died; other others believe I have withdrawn from the presidential race.” Well… Nope. The truth is that I am powerful, and I am in good health.

Aliyu took a shot at Tinubu as he was speaking on Monday at the Ogun State PDP Secretariat in Abeokuta. He stated that “a medically sound presidential candidate needs no evidence by uploading video clips on social media.”

“Atiku is the healthiest of the presidential contenders in our nation,” Aliyu emphasized many times.

On behalf of Atiku, Aliyu and two former governors, Ibrahim Shekarau of Kano and Boni Haruna of Adamawa, had stormed Abeokuta.

Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, who served as Acting National Chairman of the PDP in the past, was also present at the ceremony. Also present were the Ogun PDP governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, and his running partner, Adekunle Akinlade, in addition to other Southwest PDP officials.

Aliyu expressed confidence that if Atiku were to become president of Nigeria, the country would be reclaimed from the hands of Boko Haram rebels, robbers, and other criminal groups.
