The suspects, according to the police, sexually assaulted his sister, who has mental instability, and an 8-year-old daughter.
Two different occurrences in the state resulted in the capture of two suspected terrorists by members of the Kebbi State police command.
In a statement to reporters, Police Commissioner Ahmad Magaji-Kontagora confirmed the occurrence.
One of the accused, according to him, raped his mentally ill sister while the other raped an 8-year-old daughter.
“Mr. Danjuma Tanko, ’30’, of Zariya Kala-Kala village, Koko/Besse LGA, reportedly brought an eight-year-old girl of the same address who was selling beans cake into the house of one Umaru Dauda and forced had s3xual intercourse with her and handed her N200.
The suspect thereafter handed the aforementioned Dauda N200 for utilizing his room to carry out his wicked intentions.
The suspect coercively lured his “unsound mind sister” into a drainage system on September 16 at around 1:00 pm, where they forcibly had sex. This was corroborated by the commissioner.
He said that Bashir Ibrahim, of Kangiwa town, is suspected of carrying out the second r#pe incident on September 26. He would be prosecuted in court following the inquiry, he said.
In order to prevent similar events and assist in giving the command vital information about suspicious individuals, Magaji-Kontagora recommended Nigerians keep an eye on their surroundings.
