2023: Serious Allegation Hits Peter Obi over Abuja Business
Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has been charged of being to blame for Nigeria’s high unemployment rate. Adams Oshipomhole, a former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made this accusation when he recently launched his campaign in the Auchi region of Edo state.

According to Oshiomole, Obi’s importation of pre-finished items increased unemployment in Nigeria, according to Vanguard.

The former governor of Edo state asserts that Obi is home to Abuja’s largest mall, where every item is an import.

He said:

“Obi owns the biggest shopping mall in Abuja and all the items sold there are imported. “If he is selling imported wines, clothes, and other items, he is contributing to why Nigeria is going down because he is creating jobs abroad and importing unemployment to Nigeria.

In a move that raised more questions than answers, a delegation of Abuja-based pastors and bishops declared their support for the ambition of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

According to the clerics, Tinubu has the right frame of mind to rule the country. Tinubu was endorsed by the clerics under the aegis of the Nigerian Coalition of Pastors for Good Leadership.

According to a joint statement from the coalition’s president, Apostle Babatunde Oguntimehin, and secretary, Rev. Friday Obi, it would be wrong for Nigerians to sacrifice the APC candidate’s qualifications on the altar of the divisive Muslim-Muslim ticket.

For starters, we are entirely in favor of the transfer of power to the South once President Muhammadu Buhari, a northerner, would have held office for eight years. In accordance with the unwritten principle that authority should alternate between the north and the south, this is done for equity and fairness.
