2023, AA Reps candidate, women leader, 100 others in Ebonyi switch to LP

Mr. Chinedu Adum, the Action Alliance’s (AA) House candidate for the Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal seat, has switched parties to the Labour Party (LP) in Ebonyi State.

Ijere Ngozika, the party’s State Women’s Leader, and more than a hundred devoted followers also defected with Adum.

They told reporters that their former party, AA, has no future or plans for the people of Ebonyi State shortly after their defection, which took place at the Nkwagu-Ugbala ground Arena, which is situated along the Old Abakaliki-Enugu express road.

Ahead of the election in Ebonyi State, the decampees declared their readiness to merge the whole Action Alliance (AA) organizational structure into the Labour Party.
Responding, the gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Edward Nkwagu said the decampees have been accepted and adopted as its party members.
He gave them the responsibility of acting honorably and making sincere efforts to ensure that the LP candidates won the general election in 2023.
