2023: Enugu workers support Gov. Ugwuanyi’s choice of Mbah, Ossai

On Tuesday, the heads, managements, and staff of the Enugu State Government’s Boards, Institutions, Parastatals, Agencies, and Commissions (BIPAC) converged on the Government House in Enugu to thank Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his good works in the state despite the nation’s challenges in the economy, security, and health.
The ecstatic Enugu workers, led by the Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ESUBEB), Chief Ikeje Asogwa, also praised Gov. Ugwuanyi for selecting and emergence of Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate and deputy governorship candidate, respectively.
They pledged their solidarity and support for Gov. Ugwuanyi, the PDP’s candidate for Enugu North Senatorial District, Barr. Mbah, Barr. Ossai, and other PDP candidates in the 2023 elections, promising to work around the clock and mobilise the electorate to ensure landslide victories for the PDP and its flag-bearers.
Speaking at the event, Chief Asogwa told Gov. Ugwuanyi, who was present alongside the PDP governorship candidate, Barr. Mbah, his running mate, Barr. Ossai, and the State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Augustine Nnamani, that the workers had come to “applaud you for the good works you have been doing in the state.”
He added that the visit was also “to thank you for our brothers that emerged from the last PDP governorship primary election in Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, and his running mate, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai.”
Chief Asogwa, who is the Director General of Enugu State PDP Campaign Organisation, stressed that the workers were poised to ensure that Barr. Mbah and Barr. Ossai won the governorship election in the State in 2023 “to move the State to greater heights.”
“We had the good fortune to work with a governor (Ugwuanyi) who wields enormous power while remaining humble. Your Excellency, you are a master of human relationships. “You have been an unfailing source of good, and you are a national champion of peace and humility, and we are honoured to work with you,” he said.
