Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, began his nationwide campaign rally in Kano on Wednesday, pleading with the residents of the state to support him in the upcoming presidential election, which is less than 60 days away.
When asked about continuing “the developmental strides started by President Muhammadu Buhari after the 16 disgraceful years of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in power,” Tinubu, who had been in Kano since Monday night, was quoted as saying. He met with Muslim leaders from the North-West in a town hall meeting on Tuesday.
Massive numbers of supporters flocked to the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, where the event was held.
Tinubu, who was overjoyed, declared that all he wanted to do was dance. He also expressed his gratitude to the crowd by dancing to Hausa music and shouting “Mungode, mungode, mungode” in Hausa.
In contrast, he warned Kano State residents in his prepared text not to be duped by enabling the PDP to retake power in whatever capacity since, in his opinion, doing so would bring back maladministration in all areas.

He claimed that Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee for president, has nothing to give after serving as vice president in the PDP administration that plagiarized Nigeria’s riches.
The River State Governor Nyesom Wike was correct, the APC flag-bearer claimed when he said that Atiku lacked honesty.
While serving as Vice President, he charged Atiku with creating a university that was too expensive for Nigerians to attend.
Senator Kashim Shettima, Vice Presidential Candidate Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Senate President Ahmed Lawan, and Senator Atiku Bagudu, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kebbi, were all present at the event.
