For its part, the Niger Delta Activists Forum has called on the Federal Government to make public all details of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, audit report.
This year’s Forum also called for the NDDC’s board of directors to be constituted immediately.
Success Jack, the NDAF’s president, made these demands during a press briefing in Abuja.
The Activists forum claims that Niger Deltans in particular and Nigerians, in general, have a right to know because the audit process is funded by taxpayers.
It was he who blamed the audit for the seemingly endless delay in forming a substantive board for the North Dakota Development Corporation (NDDC).
Earlier this month, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, presented the NDDC’s audit report to the President in Abuja.
