APC Postpones Campaign Launch indefinitely

The All Progressives Congress (APC), in power, has announced a postponement of its 2023 general elections campaign launch, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

The announcement was made in a statement titled “Adjustment of the timetable of activities earmarked to commence campaign by the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja,” which was released by the director general of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and the governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong.

The Governor stated that the schedule modification came as a result of the decision to add more stakeholders to the campaign council list. He also stated that a new date for the kick-off would soon be revealed.
Remember that we previously planned a peace march and prayers for Wednesday, September 28, 2022, to formally launch our campaigns for the 2023 Presidential Elections?

“We also made it known that the Campaign Council members needed to show up to the Campaign Headquarters on that day to pick up their letters of appointment.

To ensure that everyone is on board before activities formally begin, we have chosen to change the timing of these activities due to the list’s expansion to include more stakeholders and interests within the APC family.

As a result, the events that had been previously scheduled for September 28 will no longer take place.
We realize the sacrifices and understanding of our thronging members who are more than willing to volunteer themselves for this huge duty ahead because we are Nigeria’s dominant and most alluring party. Additionally, it demonstrates the deep affection party members have for our candidates.
