The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially confirmed the postponement of its national convention indefinitely.
The ruling party, in a letter to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), today, also announced that its zonal congresses will hold on March 26th.
Recall that the APC had initially scheduled its convention for this Saturday.
However, the ruling party has been forced to halt the national exercise pending the completion of the zonal congresses.
In the letter co-signed by Governor Mai Mala Buni and Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, the national chairman and secretary, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CPC) respectively, the APC called on INEC to monitor the exercise accordingly.
