Breaking: DSS apprehends terrorists responsible for Kogi explosion that targeted Buhari

The perpetrators of the VBIED attack, which took place on December 29, 2022, close to the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland’s palace in Okene, Kogi State, have been detained by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Remember that the explosion happened just before President Muhammadu Buhari arrived to dedicate certain projects in the State.
Abdulmumin Ibrahim Otaru, also known as Abu Mikdad, and one of his friends, Saidu Suleiman, were the suspects who were taken into custody.
According to Dr. Peter Afunanya, spokesman for the DSS, the suspects were apprehended on January 3, 2023, and Otaru was shot in the left foot while attempting to flee.

The attack on the Nigeria Police Area Command, Eika-Ohizenyi, Okehi LGA of Kogi State on June 24, 2022, was orchestrated by Otaru, a high-ranking commander of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), or he participated in it, the statement continued. Idris MUSA, a police inspector, was slain in that incident, and two AK-47 firearms were taken away;
“The attacks on West African Ceramics Ltd (WACL) in Ajaokuta LGA, Kogi, on August 5, 2022, in which three Indian expatriates were abducted, and the attacks on the Kuje Medium Security Custodial Center on July 5, 2022, in the Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. It should be remembered that the attack also claimed the lives of five people, including two police officers, two company drivers, and an Indian. The kidnapped foreign nationals were freed on August 31, 2022.
