Breaking: Wike Finally Endorses Atiku Abubakar After Lossing The PDP Presidential Ticket

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has declared his support for the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

According to reports, the PDP’s Special National Convention was held in Abuja on Saturday, where the party’s presidential flagbearer for the 2023 general election was announced.
According to reports, unlike other PDP aspirants who sent messages to the former Vice President after the primary, Wike refused to congratulate Atiku.

Atiku met with Wike on Monday as part of the PDP’s reconciliation effort, which aims to give the party a better chance of defeating the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2023 presidential election.

Former Ekiti State Governor and PDP presidential candidate Ayodele Fayose, among other PDP leaders, attended the reconciliation meeting.

Wike promised not to abandon the PDP in a tweet shortly after meeting with Atiku. “We will be fully supporting Atiku,” the governor added.
