EFCC detains two siblings, 24 others in Ibadan

In Ibadan, 26 individuals have been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibadan Zonal Command for engaging in online fraud.

This is stated in a statement provided to newsmen on Thursday in Ibadan and signed by its spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), there were 24 additional people arrested in addition to two sets of siblings.

He said that the commission’s use of actionable intelligence led to the suspects’ Tuesday arrests in Ibadan’s Apete neighborhood.

According to Uwujaren, the suspects’ belongings included a car, laptops, and expensive phones.

As soon as the investigations were over, he declared that the suspects would be brought before the court.
