Fani-Kayode slams UK Envoy, saying, Keep off Nigeria affairs, your candidate didn’t win
The British deputy high commissioner to Nigeria, Ben Llewellyn-Jones, has received criticism from Femi Fani-Kayode, a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for a remark made against him.
It was recalled that the UK Envoy for the United Kingdom confronted Fani-Kayode on Sunday over his allegedly inciting social media posts.
In an interview with Nigeria Info FM on Sunday, Llewellyn-Jones expressed concern over the potential effects of the former minister of aviation’s disparaging remarks about opposition parties.
In response, FFK urged the UK representative to stay out of Nigeria’s affairs in a tweet posted on his official account, claiming that the nation is no longer their colony.

The former minister claimed that the UK envoy’s preferred candidate lost the recently held presidential elections.
As the Deputy High Commissioner of the UK to Nigeria, he wrote, “I would advise this Ben to keep his dirty nose out of our internal affairs.
“I am aware that his preferred candidate did not prevail in the presidential election, but that does not excuse him from acting inappropriately toward us in this situation. Who the hell does he think he is, I wonder?
