In place of Spain, the Flying Eagles will camp in Morocco prior to the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Morocco was chosen by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) because it has similar weather to Egypt.
A senior NFF official told SCORENigeria, “The team will train in Morocco, which has weather similar to Egypt, which is currently very cold and the team needs to get used to this in time for the tournament.
Today in Abuja, Ladan Bosso’s team will start the second stage of their preparation.

At the end of this month, the team is scheduled to leave for Morocco to begin the final stage of their preparations.
Egypt will host the U-20 AFCON from February 19 to February 11.
The Flying Eagles were placed in Group A alongside the hosts Egypt, Senegal, and Mozambique.
On February 19 at the Cairo International Stadium, the seven-time champions will play Senegal in their opening match of the tournament.
