Former national chairman, Umeh, defects to Labour Party

Chief Victor Umeh, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has defected to the Labour Party.

Six days earlier, he had lost the APGA ticket to Dozie Nwankwo, a member of the House of Representatives who currently represents the Anoacha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency.

Umeh, who served as APGA’s National Chairman for eight years, lost the APGA ticket for the Anambra Central Senatorial zone to Nwankwo by a razor-thin margin.

For the 2023 general election, Umeh is running on the Labour Party’s ticket for the Anambra Central Senatorial zone.
