I Have Done My Best As President — Buhari

According to President Muhammadu Buhari, he has given Nigeria his best effort.

He mentioned this in Washington when Sheikh Al-Mahfoudh Bin Bayyah, the secretary general of the Abu Dhabi Forum, and his assistant, Pastor Bob Roberts of the US, arrived for a visit.

We have a sizable population and face numerous difficulties, yet we are making an effort in many areas. I’ve done my best in seven and a half years,” he remarked.

According to a statement by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, Buhari said that the government’s top priority is to address issues impacting youngsters since they represent its hope for a brighter future.

Buhari urged the gathering to keep focusing on the kids who hold the promise of the future in his speech about the need to develop generations of youth free from religious fanaticism and intolerance.

“Your work is crucial in promoting intercultural understanding and heritage pride, especially among young people.

“Thanks to your fantastic idea, future generations will be better able to prepare ahead and coexist in harmony. We will continue to address our issues, particularly those that concern youngsters.

Bin Bayyah said that they had come to tell the President and to extend an invitation for him to attend the presentation of the Abu Dhabi Foundation Award to him in honor of his excellent contributions to the advancement of peace and security.

According to him, the award was given in keeping with the Foundation’s efforts to combat religious extremism and promote mutual respect and discussion among all major religions.
