In Bauchi, NSCDC honours 72 newly promoted officers

On Thursday, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi State Command, presented 72 newly promoted officers with their new ranks.

During the ceremony in Bauchi, the NSCDC Commandant, Mr Ameh James, praised the newly promoted officers for their dedication to duty and congratulated them on their promotion.

He claimed that promotion is only given by God in exchange for responsibilities, hard work, and selfless service.

According to him, the officers who were promoted were chosen based on their performance, hard work, commitment, and proactiveness.

While urging other officers who have yet to be promoted to put in more effort in the discharge of their duties rather than becoming demoralised.
The NSCDC boss stated that the NSCDC Commandant-General, Ahmed Audi, had done enough to elevate the officers to their new ranks and urged them to double their efforts in fulfilling the Corps’ mandate.

“This event will be remembered and indelible in the minds of the officers who have been promoted.”

“However, if you want to succeed, you must be liberal and humble by treating your subordinates with kindness and compassion.”

He urged all newly promoted officers to buckle down and double their efforts because they have more work ahead of them.
