On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, officers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Ibadan Zonal Command arrested 45 alleged internet fraudsters in Ogun State.
They were apprehended in Ijebu-Ode after intelligence was obtained about their alleged fraudulent internet-related activities.
Ogunnusi Oluwaseunfunmi Akorede, Idor Ndubuisi Samuel, Bakare Idowu Ayomide, Oduntan Durojaiye Oluwaseun, Nurudeen Olalekan Quam, Bakare Taiwo Adewale, and Aiyeloja Ridwan Oluwatobi are among those arrested.
Others are Odude Ayomide Micheal, Adesanya Olamilekan, Badaru Damilare Micheal, and Bashir Sodiq Omobolaji.

There are 26 more names on the list.
Among the items recovered from the suspects are 16 exotic cars, several mobile phones, laptop computers, and watches.
The EFCC stated that they will be charged in court as soon as the investigations are completed.
