It’s in their best interest to support Tinubu, Osinbajo, Amaechi benefited from him – Afegbua

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi will be forced to back Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential nominee in the 2023 general elections, according to Prince Kassim Afegbua, a former commissioner for information in the Edo state.

Speaking with Afegbua, he expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to win over the two APC heavyweights because they have both previously profited politically from the former governor of Lagos state.
With 1,271 votes, Tinubu won the APC presidential nomination in June. Former Rivers State governor Amaechi received 316 votes to finish second, and Osinbajo received 235 votes to finish third.
The same outcome, according to Afegbua’s forecast, will occur in the 2023 presidential election. He predicts that Tinubu would win and that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, will come in second.
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, will come in third when the results are revealed, he claimed, despite all the commotion on social media and during rallies.

Tinubu’s ambition will be supported by Osinbajo and Amaechi.

They should support him because it’s better for them. I say this because they have, in a sense, benefited from Tinubu’s political generosity.
Naturally, I didn’t think Amaechi had the necessary experience to govern Nigeria from the start. He lacks the qualifications necessary to govern a diverse nation like Nigeria.
“Osinbajo is intelligent, frank, and all of that, but how many votes did he receive in the presidential primary? They would have argued,
“Oh, if Osinbajo had contested, he would have won, but he felt the whole dynamics that came into play,” if he hadn’t run in the primary.

“When he spoke at the convention, he almost won the greatest applause, but where was he when the results were announced? He placed much behind second. In 2023, a Peter Obi will also come to an end in like manner. At the end of the day, it doesn’t translate into votes. You can yell in the streets and hold rallies as you choose.

“Politics is a developed vice. It isn’t rambling. It is orderly, and there is a means to get rid of it to move people ahead. It is often challenging to sever old loyalties. Therefore, a Peter Obi cannot undermine the long-standing support that the public has shown for Tinubu.
