Ivory Coast defeated Comoros easily in their most recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match on Friday night at Stade Bouake.
From the first whistle, the Ivorians dominated their opponents, launching numerous attacks and creating opportunities for goals. Ivory Coast applied constant pressure that Comoros found difficult to withstand, despite the home team’s star-studded lineup consistently producing strong attacking plays.
After 30 minutes of play, Christian Kouame’s well-placed shot inside the Comoros box gave the Ivorians the lead. Sebastien Haller’s thunderous header in the second half doubled Ivory Coast’s advantage as they maintained their superiority.

In the final seconds of the contest, Jean-Phillippe Krasso added a third goal to seal the outcome. Comoros did manage to score a consolation goal in extra time, but it was insufficient to stop Ivory Coast from taking home all three points.
After three games in Group H qualifying, the Ivorians are in the lead with seven points, closely followed by Zambia with six points. The third place goes to Comoros, and the last place goes to Lesotho.
