I don’t know what the issue was, whether it was related to politics or something else, he continued. I haven’t heard back as of yet. Because I had been there for such a long time, I would have preferred if someone had explained to me why I wasn’t playing, but I never did.
‘So this is a chance to say my goodbyes because I never really got that. It will be an enjoyable occasion but we want to win the game. You can’t get caught up too much in it emotionally.’
