Jim Ratcliffe meets supporter group as he hopes to hijack deal to buy Chelsea

It’s a lot like a transfer deal with clubs trying to come in and hijack a player’s move to their new club.

Chelsea’s ownership takeover situation has taken a lot of different turns, and it looks like one person is trying to send it in another new direction once again.

A surgical summer is needed at Chelsea FC!

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is trying to hijack Todd Boehly’s deal to buy Chelsea Football Club, according to The Evening Standard today.

They claim that Ratcliffe’s bid remains on the table and is still seen by sources close to the process as a viable option.

As a result Raine are still to publicly confirm Boehly as their choice to buy out Roman Abramovich. It is believed that an increased offer from Ratcliffe could be enough to blow the process wide open.

Further to this, Matt Law of The Telegraph has reported that Ratcliffe has met with the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust this week!
