With less than 20 days to the 2021 elections of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kwara State Council.
The aspiring office seekers into various offices have been urged to seek for the unity of members, courage to steer the ship of the State Council to protect the interest of practicing Journalists in the State.
The Director of News and Current affairs, Kwara State Television Service, Mr. Abayomi Adeniji made the call during the campaign tour of Dare Akogun Chairmanship at the State Television House along Apata-Yakuba way in Ilorin the State capital
Adeniji said it was paramount for all the aspirants vying for positions in the state Council to see the welfare of their colleagues as crucial.
Also, adding that unity must be promoted among all members while the interest of State media houses should also be protected
Meanwhile the frontline chairmanship aspirant, Dare Akogun maintained that he has all it takes to move the state Council to the next level
Come July 10th, 2021 the pen pushers in the State will elect their leaders who will pilot the affairs of the Council for the next three, but all the aspirants must put the interest of the union first to move the council to the next level.
