The nomination of Dr. Ajibola Sikiru Adetona as the rector of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, has received the approval of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
The tenure shall be five years in accordance with the terms and conditions of the office and status, as outlined in the applicable laws of the institution, according to a letter approving the appointment dated December 16, 2022, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, and made available to newsmen on Monday.
Through the SSG, the governor welcomed the new rector and asked him to carry out his responsibilities with utmost devotion, commitment, and professionalism in order to improve the institution’s existing standing.

“I am glad to commend the Governor, His Excellency, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde on your appointment as Rector, The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Saki, with effect from 14th December 2022,” the letter said.
The duration of your appointment shall be five years, in accordance with the conditions and circumstances of the office and status as set forth in the applicable statutes of the institution.
