MC Oluomo: Ohanaeze sends message to Gani Adams that it is becoming difficult to stop Ndigbo from retaliating
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has pleaded with Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, to prevent Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, from inciting animosity between Igbo and Yoruba in Lagos State.
According to reports, markets heavily populated by Igbo businesses have been completely destroyed by fire for a few weeks now.
In Lagos State, a fire destroyed the Olowu spare parts market early on Thursday.
This occurred three weeks after the fire that destroyed the Akere Spare Parts Market on Kirikiri Road, Olodi-Apapa in Ajegunle.
The Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, discussed the ongoing attacks and said that it is getting harder to prevent the Igbos from retaliating.
He pointed out that it appears the attacks serve goals other than securing victory in the general elections.

The state’s governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was criticized by the apex Igbo group for failing to handle the crisis.
Iba Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of the Yoruba nation, is requested by Ohaneze Ndigbo to kindly use his revered position to stop the situation, according to a statement from Isiguzoro.
The sustained “genocide and crimes against humanity” being committed against Ndigbo in Lagos by some “APC thugs” led by MC Oluomo, with the State Government and security agencies observing the “horror movie,” is already turning into a Herculean task to prevent retaliation.
We are however encouraged by Afenifere’s patriotic stance and Pa Ayo Adebanjo’s brave leadership, and we implore Ndigbo to uphold the law while also remaining “vigilant and on guard.”
