PHOTOS: Police Return N303k Extorted By Operatives

The amount of N303,000 that was extorted from one Ejiro Ogene by three policemen in Abuja on Tuesday has been restored by the Police. The incident occurred on Tuesday.
On Thursday, a spokeswoman for the force named Olumuyiwa Adejobi published images documenting the moment when the money was returned to its rightful owner as well as the names of the police officers who had extorted him. He went on to say that the officers had been taken into custody.

Adejobi said,”Insp Nuhu Shaibu, Sgt Guusu Collins, Sgt Aragon Felix. They are part of the Anti-Violence Squad that is based in Abuja and are affiliated with the FCT Command. On Tuesday in Abuja, they were taken into custody for allegedly getting 303,000k from Ogene. The money that was stolen by them has been recovered and given to the individual who filed the complaint, who is known as Ogene Ejiro. We constantly advise you to report any misdeed to us. We will take the necessary actions.”
