Reps express dissatisfaction at Katsina Fuel Station Owners

The House of Representatives Adhoc Technical Committee on Tank Farms, Petrol and Liquefied Petroleum Gasoline (LPG) Stations Compliance has expressed dissatisfaction with non-compliance, discovered in some facilities. The committee which visited Katsina, led by its co-chairman, Mariam Onuoha, however, assured Nigerians of their safety, in addition to protected environmental practices by the operators.

During its evaluation, the workforce found out that some safety precautions weren’t met and tasked the owners with the need to operate by regulatory necessities and approvals, or face sanctions.

The participants pledged to offer their maximum cooperation to the committee, to achieve its said goal of bringing about a safer environment.
