Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has expressed sadness over the death of his colleague, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, aka Junior Pope.
Newsreal recalls that Junior Pope died on Wednesday alongside three others after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a film location.
Mourning the ‘Secret Adventure’ actor, Jim Iyke said he is no stranger to devastating loss but “this one is a different pain”.
He noted that he can’t question God but his heart is so heavy with so many questions.
On his Instagram page, he wrote: “Dear God, I am not stranger to devastating loss. I will not dare question your will but my heart is so heavy with so many questions. Words fail me.
“To the giver and taker of life, I surrender but this one is a different pain. A different loss. Broken in ways I don’t even understand.
“Rest with God JP. Rest my dear brother.”
