Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, has vehemently denounced the killing of soldiers who were ambushed by gunmen at Umunze while on a regular patrol in the local government area of Orumba South in Anambra State.
“We vehemently condemn this terrible and heartless attack. As reported by his spokesperson Christian Aburime in a statement, Soludo added, “The culprits of this act must pay.
Even those who attacked Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and the others, “We are not going to rest on our oars. There will be no place for them to hide at all, Soludo continued.
“Our actions moving forward will be evident, and these individuals will undoubtedly pay a price for this vile and abhorrent attack,”
The governor asked the people of Anambra to maintain peace and follow the law because the security agents are in control of the situation.
