Shocking CCTV shows the trio making their getaway in Mr McCall’s white Isuzu D-Max utility, which they later abandoned on a bush track off Chalk Hill in Medina.
Mr McCall suffered severe injuries, including a broken neck, broken back, 11 broken ribs and a minor bleed on the brain.
He continues to received treatment at Royal Perth Hospital.
His devastated daughter, Chelsea McCall, said her father’s injuries “will follow for the rest of his life”.
To add to her grief, she lost her mother to cancer only seven months ago.
“It’s just really hard to get used to the new reality without my mum but now also this new reality of this incident,” Ms McCall said.
She described her dad as “a happy go lucky bloke”, who was determined to get better.
“He wants to be fully independent again,” she said.
“And I know he will, he’s a strong man.”
Police have very little description of the people involved in the attack as they wore face coverings and generic clothing.
Ms McCall said she wants the offenders to be held accountable.
“It would give [my dad] peace knowing the people have been brought to justice, it will help his recovery,” she said.
“Have a heart. Come to your senses a bit and just think about what you’re actually doing can impact a whole range of people.”
