Aniocha North LG Dissolves Revenue and Environmental Committees
The Authorities of Aniocha North Local Government have dissolved all Committees and Taskforces established by the Local Government Council.
This was part of the decision taken on Thursday, July 25, 2024 by the Executive Council of the Local Government, presided over by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye

This was disclosed by Hon. Ndubuisi Osemene, Special Adviser to the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government in a media chat with the press.
The dissolution of the Committees and Taskforces takes effect from Friday July 26, 2024.
Heads of the dissolved Committees and Taskforces are directed to submit to the Office of the Executive Chairman, all properties and documents relating and belonging to the Local Government, between Friday 26th July and Monday 29th July 2024.
Also, he said that residents of Aniocha North Local Government Area and the general public are requested, not to by any means, have dealings or transactions with the disbanded committees, task forces or any of their agents.
All dealings relating to Revenue, Environment or any other related matters, should be directed to the office of the Executive Chairman of the Local Government.
The Police and other relevant security agencies have been informed and directed to deal decisively, in line with the law, anybody that will flout the decisions and resolutions of the Executive Council of the Local Government in this regard.
In addition to this, the Executive Council also resolved to reconstitute new Committees, Taskforces as well as engage new revenue contractors and consequently requested former members of the dissolved committees, as well as former revenue contractors and agents to be at liberty to apply for re-engagement.

Other interested members of the public are also to apply to the Local Government for engagement.
The application from all seeking for either re-engagement or engagement is to apply through the Office of the Executive Chairman on or before Friday, 2nd August, 2024.
