9News has obtained vision of the incident which shows multiple people running following a fight.
Police believe a man had a verbal argument with four other men outside the shopping centre.
“Officers were told a fight broke out and the man was seen with an edged weapon during the incident, however this was not used,” police said.
The man fled the scene before police arrived.
No one was injured during the incident and no arrests have been made.
