Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi could return to action for Nottingham Forest before the end of the season, Soccernet.ng reports.
Awoniyi has been an important player for Nottingham since he arrived from Union Berlin two years ago. However, he has struggled with injuries in his two seasons.
Last season, the 25-year-old striker registered 27 appearances in the Premier League, missing eleven games because of injury. However, his late spur at the end of the season that saw him register six goals in his last four games ensured that he helped Nottingham Forest escape relegation.
